The CA upload and shop part of the site

Looking good G but I'm not sure why you're seriously compromising it with the Google stuff. I've just noticed on the Mac that some of your ads run like navigation options underneath your logo and real nav and these, like the Google search box (why?) take your visitors away from your site to places where they may spend their money instead. I'm sure you've got your reasons for making it feel like so many other sites (which is a shame) but I can't imagine what they are!

Serious criticism from me, but only because I want it to work well for you. I think the site itself looks and will work great and can be a great success. I'd opt for the traditional route and as the site makes a name for itself, try to find a few sponsors to run tasteful ads. Pleeeeease don't sell it out
... until it's worth a fortune

not much to add as cow said, looking good and nice to see its getting , there other than the google nav look, the section at the bottom, with the title of A Superb Selection of the Rest with load of images of yours, is that these images are all squashed, and look weird and its a shame as its your work and its very good work as well, otherwise matey keep up the good work, and when all calm downs will be able to help with input and well if you need it then ask

congradulations.. :D

Oh man. You put me in quite a quandary :?

I know exactly what you mean but I need to make this site work in as many ways as i can and adsense works for me on other sites i have.

But ... I really do get where you're coming from.
What to do ... what to do ...??

Between you and Tom, I'm in a right old state

Cheers for the crit though. I'd apprecuate anything you can comment on or any suggestions you might have. Is the copy OK. I hate writing copy.

My thumbnails at the bottom were ones I already had (but they we're landscape. I put them in temporarily so i at least had some kind of showing.
I will sort it asap but I'm a bit reluctant because Tom is really flying along with the CMS site so not sure how much more work to put into the HTML one??

In the middle of clearing the house before the building starts so little time right now. Did notice this (on the slimmer taller images)...

Image
Probably be best to always place it underneath the select box, just to be safe.

I'll get back to you on anything else once things calm down a bit here!

On a bright note though, me, wife & traveling cow thrashed a Ferrari around Donington park yesterday...

Thanks for the feedback, Cow.
The 'buy' button and selection field were both pre designed by the googlecheckout code but I've altered it so they are on different lines now.

I think in the CMS site this will change to a simple 'buy' link anyway but it works for now :D

I need to see how the highslide app. workd with the images because i couldn't get it to do what you displayed. Even if I reduce the screen size.??

Got to run now. Back soon :D

Ahh, the glory of cross-browser compatability! I can't remember if I got that on the PC or Mac but'll try to find out when I have more time (demolishing garage as we speak). I certainly don't mind being a 'tester' for the site.
