Wasn't it this blogspot rubbish that was joining up as bogus members to get their links on your site?

I am not very good at keeping up blogs as you will soon see! But as i havent got anything on my web space at the moment i thought i would use one of those cos they are free.

I took your advice and went out and bought some more canvas and i have been painting, so i intend to photograph what ive done and post them up!

One of them i cant post yet cos its a birthday surprise for someone.

Is that blogspot a bad thing then Cow? I dont know much about these things. I dont want to get plagued by weird people, but then again i never give out too much personal info.

I don't know if blogspot is good or bad Caz. I just think I remember the name from those zero posters we had here on the forum to steal some space for free links. I visited their 'sites' which were all full of random words and rubbish. maybe it's just a system that's being abused by the wankers that spam. Who knows.

I'm not a fan of the whole blog thing. Unless someone's doing something extraordinary and the blog forms part of a larger site, who would want to read about someone they don't know? I suppose people will though, just like those who waste their spare time watching nobody's doing less than nothing in the big brother house. It's all very odd!

You go ahead and do it though, I'll read it. Just don't mention the go-karts

I don't think there's anything wrong with blogs. No-one has to read them unless they want to. I think creative people blogging are interesting to me, especially if you get to see their work and perhaps have a better understanding about their motives. Moreso if it's someone your kind of know. I'll read it

It also depends what it's about. Some are fundamentally & universally interesting ... some are just tediously mundane

However, they are a good tool for putting ideas on the net quickly with little technical skill but still pleasing to navigate.

Yes, the spamming of this forum was routed through blogspot but I read up about it and Google were being used as a conduit for the spam. It seems to be an automated blogger & I gather google are in the process of trying to filter this stuff out.

Big Brother is repugnant - the worst kind of TV. It seems to stupify the viewer. (sorry if anyone does watch and enjoy .. I just don't like it at all.)

I'm really glad you've got some canvas. I'm surprised you took my advice ... don't think anyone's ever done that!!
