this is a group project. but have been given a site we need to design for some one this is an actual live project, the winner gets to produce the actual thing. anyway heres my approach so far with a second idea :

the little 3d map is a section from a larger area, as the place is huge, so will do the whole area like this and the little one as shown above would be sections for you to explore etc, so image about 6 or 7 of these(joined to make the complete view)

Quite nice, and similar to something I'm working on that I'll try to market later. What's the map going to be of, general tourist info?

the map on the links in one of around five that will be of a larger area. The site holds a festival each year and is some where people camp and stay as they look around the nice sites, also they dive on to a ex royal navy boat sunk for marine life etc etc and all that.

Sort of whats coming up

There will around 6 sections like these but will only produce about two, as its a pitch assignment, so we can show whats going to be designed and done, we were told not to bother doing a complete site, as only the winner will be asked to produce the completed one.

Ah, I see. I wont be telling what mine is about, at least not yet. I had a thought whilst out wandering the local hills and need to play with an idea for a while to see if I can push it. Could be lucrative, more info as it happens...

i understand, I can not post up on site my ideas or plans for the group project as the other groups will know etc, and as its a live projetc its crucial, the winner will get to do the live site, ots free but good for the portfolio ect
