I'd like to but for now it's only 'A,B +C'

I did an apple ages ago and need to find it.

I've cobbled together a 'b is for book' but that needs finishing too.

Here it is.

It's just really dawning on me how little time i have before this exhibition.

really nice matey, one thing I wanted to learn and that s 3d even just to do a simple thing would have been nice, but lovely work matey

ps nice to see the lightbox effect when clicking the image, but when click close it does not it just stays there, now could be a bug or a cunning plot by you so people are stuck looking at your master piece

I'd like to say it's a cunning plan but I'm not that clever. I refreshed the page and it returned to normal.

Correct, Caz. I constructed it consciously to compliment your concupiscense. Oh, and I made it in the shape of a 'c' too

OK. So I'm going to do a set of three (a, b & c)

do I:
a.) give them all unique settings (ie. their expected environment - the apple in a kitchen maybe, the book on a desk with pens & stuff, the cup on a table with a spoon & chequed table cloth) with the only common thread being that they are the shape of what they describe (obviously)
b.) Make them all look simialr, in the same environment.
The apple one is in a darker space with a kind of spot light?
What do you think?

Something's gone terribly wrong

There I was, rendering away when, after a frantic burst of 'altering too much stuff' I accidently covered everything in shiny ectosnot

Now I've got to work backwards to find out what the hell i did.

If it wasn't for the extreme, unexpected shine, this would be almost perfect

OK. So I gave up on the ecto-snot problem

I did this instead. I must have lost my original 'apple' so I've done it again.
I'm pretty happy with this so far. Obviously still needs some work (textures & environment are the main ones)

I think this one is a little more abstract to see. What are you thoughts??

Also, before anyone points it out, the middle bit is employing a little 'anti gravity' artistic license

Can't help you with the ectosnot issue, but the apple is a very nice idea. I like it a lot. Good stuff Morph, look forward to seeing the finished version.

I'll keep you posted with my progress on these three.
I've sorted the 'ectosnot' shine. Still not sure what happened. I'm thinking it was a bit of a glitch. I reset then started again with the lighting and it looks OK now. I've just got to sort the problem of the odd shading on the lower part of the cup - looks really blotchy. I think it's a radiosity photon problem but this is as alien to me as it sounds
