Coloured in aircraft

Here we go to liven up the place a few recent doodles and not all aircraft!

Excellent. Love those textures. All Illustrator? Have you done any tutorials? I'l love to see your process.

I have quite a few old Aircraft magazines (marshall cavendish in binders type thing) They have great ortho? views of planes. with colour schemes. Any good to you?

Not all illustrator, do the lines, rivets, plan view in Illustrator as I have to do technical plans every month for one mag. Like this...

Then dump it all into photoshop using vector masks on layer groups, add some colour and depth then on to the next one. Never really thought of doing a tutorial, who'd be interested?

I never say no to more source material.

I think these are really good, i would like to see the process behind it, i have never used vector for realism. It would be great to have an insight.
