now i realise why they call you COW a right one

nover gloated, as i knew we would not win, but its a shame we lost by that much and two not so allowed tries.(NZ ref needs a good lesson in how the rules work, and that the 4th ref was not on holiday)

anyway well done the italians good comeback the irish.

BUT! my hats go off to the Scottish this week they pulled off the best shock, in a long time, missed second half for work but recorded it so watched when got home, impressed with the first but the second was blinding, and that rolling maul try was superb, WELL DONE the scots, deserve it

Scots were awesome.

England beat a poor Welsh side.

Ireland struggled against a tough Italian side. We were piss-poor, just like in the Autumn. With the 15 that started they shouldn't have had a chance. We will not beat France or England if we do not step it up a gear, or Scotland for that matter. I fear that the Welsh are in for a tough 6 nations.

Maybe, but they showed they can play with pace on the break. Ireland did struggle against the Italians but I imagine they'll probably raise their game in the next couple of weeks. After Englands dip in performances after the World Cup and the subsequent retirements, I reckon they're building back up well and may well take the 6 nations this time.

All in all though, great entertainment from all three games.

Yes. An entertaining first weekend of rugby. It's good to see such a balance of strength in the tournament. I really don't see any team as being so strong as to be unbeatable. It should be a cracker of a 6 nations.

I'd still be interested in seeing Argentina incorporated in to the tournament. That would really shake things up. It's such a shame to see them languishing in the rugby wilderness.

well its been a long time since i've seen a close six (5) nations since the last one and this one, indeed hope the opening weekend was not a fluke(well in englands case

As for argentina, they are in the game they come under the disguise of italy ha ha

No really, to far for this one, but it is about time that SA, NZ and aussies let them in on the tri nations tournament, but they wont, this would help them dramatically, but also the other teams such as fiji,samoa etc but then whole would new zealand take their(apparent legal) players from, this would be good for them all.
The next teams to join 6 nations should be romania, they have an up and coming team but then we might as well do a european international tournament

but then the six nations is the best. Another option would be for argentina, USA canada etc to produce their own tournament, then this could create a good winner plays winner etc, but for the worlds other teams to improve their game they do need something like we and the tri nations have, but until NZ etc back down its hard

As far as I know most of the Argentinian players are based in Europe (money) so they would actually have further to travel to play in the Tri-nations.

It's amazing to think that Romania used to be one of the best teams in Europe. Says alot for dictatorships. I also found it quite amusing that in the 50's and 60's France were like Italy. Now look at them!
