any gamers?
Just thought I'd ask if there are any gamers on here? PC, console, whatever. I get a lot of ideas for images from playing games, and just wondered if anyone else plays them here?

Re: any gamers?
Alas, no. I used to but don't seem to have the time these days.
My son has an Xbox so I occasionally play GTA or Black Ops (although I'm rubbish at this)
I mess around with a friend of mine but he's more into RPGs.
I uses to play Tomb Raider many years ago (completed 1, 2 & 3)
I was a serious gamer in my youth though but that was quite a few pixels different ; )
What do you play?

It's always a sunny day above the clouds : )
Re: any gamers?
my first gaming was a Sega master system at the tender age of six (ahh Alex Kidd!), and i have always played games on and off since really.
I seem to get less and less time to play them nowadays, but I always try and geek as much as I get opportunity!
I play all sorts really, I do like games with a decent narrative, but on the other hand it is nice to have a quick fix of shooting racing, etc. I really will give any type of game a go, I'm not elitist, although i have played some garbage in my time!
It seems that gaming is losing (some) of its geeky stigma what with a lot of on line gaming taking happening now, and a becoming more mainstream media. How far they have come from playing Horace goes skiing on Spectrum is staggering!
I would have to say my favourite genre is open world, like Skyrim or GTA. I like the idea of having a big playground to tinker around with, rather than being driven down a linear path. GTA5 sounds very promising, but with getting married this year and talk of having children, I think the largest chunk of my gaming tie is behind me now! My friend has just had a baby, and reports from the front line sound bleak for gaming time!
Also there is making new work, there is never enough time to do the things you want. [/rant]
