OK. although I've not gone on about it too much, I've been busily working in the background to get the front end of CA up and running as a 'print your artwork' site.

Take a look because I think you regular forum members might not look at the main site. (obviosuly) www.citizenart.com

It's not finished yet but I'm trying to get it in a useable condition in the next two days or so.

The site was mentioned in the latest issue of Computer Arts Projects with a brief quote I made (1% or the rant I submitted  ) so I need to get it working ASAP, since i was under the impression i had until the beginning of Aug before the mag went out.

Sooo, this is where our two newest users have been enticed from :D
Marmalade & Tom; so welcome to them both.
I posted the original idea on the other, worse CA forum.

Tom has very kindly (read- stupidly) offered to help with the main site (unlike that slacking hack, Cow  ) so hopefully between Tom (96%) and Myself (er .. this is like maths ... the rest%) we can get a good site working.

This will also hopefully mean more users here which would be great.

So, that's not the smell of Paul's feet; it's the winds of change ......

edit: Just for new users info; this forum was set up by some older Computer Arts forum members a few years back ( when we had a really great and very active community) until the powers that be at Future started really messing things up and imposing on the forum.
We fragmented and started 'the peoples front of Judea' under the name of Citizen Art (the fact that it's CA as well really is coincidental)
Interesting, eh :D

So, everyone here was on the other CA at one point or another.

Welcome, Ars. 8)

This forum isn't as 'buzzing' as the other CA (if buzzing is the right word) but we do stick our heads in every once in a while .... and sometimes even post stuff too :D

I honestly think this forum can be a lot better than the other one. Although there's no magazine to drive a million students to your door, your site will eventually speak for itself, offer quality artwork and can be a hugely successful resource for all. Just don't blow it with the ads!!
