Well, here are the details. If anyone wants to come, they are more than welcome.
You can just drop in while it's on. If anyone wants to come to the 'private viewing' just let me know.

If i was nearer i would certainly pay a visit. :D I often wander around the art galleries in Sheffield on my lunch hour but i dont think i would make it down there and back in time.

Hows it going with the preparation? Have you sorted out how you are going to display your images?

Errrr ... no ....

I've sourced printers and will have some hard copies (hopefully) by the end of the week.
I still have to find frames and will probably go for a job lot of standard sizes then fit the images to the frames. I don't really have time for anything else.

If anyone knows of or has had dealings with online frame suppliers, I'd love to hear it.

I really have to get my head round exactly what sizes & quantities I'm going to print as I need to have sorted the frames by the end of the week.

I'll keep you informed of my crashing & subsequent burning :D

Checked the venue website and discovered this...

"The whole of the West End Centre is now a no smoking venue. We do hope this does not cause you too much inconvenience."

How inconsiderate. :x

The place was always on fire so they had to get those under control first. However, once the fires were out, they we're still smoldering, hence the smoke.
It seems they got someone in to extinguish the embers and, after leaving the windows open for a couple of days, finally have it totally smoke free. It's much easier on the eyes and lungs.

Sorry. I've just re-read what I wrote. What was I thinking??

It looks like it's going to cost me around £800-£900 for frames and printing.

I can't find a 'throw up then pass out' emoticon?? Shhiiiittttt

Yeah, that might do it  (almost!)

On friday, I spent just under £600 on frames
That could have been a 32" LCD TV

I'd better make some money out of this exhibition

Tomorrow I will be getting 40 x A3 prints at £2 a pop. Not bad really but £80 is still £80

Then there's the A2 & A1 at around £200.

So not only am I setting myself up for potential humiliation, in addition to the stress, I'm going to be skint too

Bollocks!! :D

Well, yesterday was D-Day or E-Day as i liked to call it (do you see what I did there  )

The exhibition went live yesterday.
Bloody hell!! What a lot of stress, hassle and cash. But I'm glad now it's done.

Here is a sample 'montage' from the day I set it up (the room was a bit of a mess with much stuff in) Also, the picture makes it look a bit tattly but it looks better in real life (so I'm told :D )

Image

Anyway, I'm going to update my website with some stuff early next week so I'll point you to it then.

Wish me luck

Coolio. I see little blue balls! :D I may have to pop along.

Just been into Hounslow to buy myself one of these...

Also picked up a fuel pump relay for my old 924 (long running frustrating problem) and broke the f***ing thing putting it in. Dammit I'm still really mad. In Wraysbury, no one can hear you scream...
