Nope - 924 (look again)

Changing the folder name sounds good to me.

8 ... 4 ... makes no difference!

I care for neither

Simon has a good heart. He's just welsh (and mentally, slightly under par  )

Also, without him, the weekly post count would be 90% down.

And I'm back. Not before time,by the looks of this thread ... I nearly got left behind in the move.

France is just too hot this year - people dropping like flies, and the government is advising everyone to go to a supermarket for 3 hours a day to cool down. The day after my last post,it hit 45 degrees at midday.

Anyway, may post a pic or two some time.

Off to catch up on mail/posts etc.

I'm suprised you could handle that heat Paul, being a Scottish chappie and all that  Hope you had a good break though. I'm off next month for something that'd no doubt take your fancy..... scuba in the Maldives for our first anniversary. Never done it before but I quite fancy the swimming with Mantas. Not Opel Mantas Morph, although I had one of those I never swam with it. It did leak however.

Sounds nice Cow, though from what I hear, you might need scuba gear for getting into your hotel in the Maldives!

If you get a chance, you could try scuba here first, maybe in a pool with a local club as a "trial" session. It just means you'll be quicker geting used to it abroad and spend more time diving and less time learning, although to be honest, we usually had complete beginners diving within 2 hours when I was working in the dive shop.

Anyway, I'm dead jealous!

I'm sure the Maldives have the legendary 'muff' fish, and there's no greater pleasure than a dive with the prospect of that.
Although, as Paul suggests, maybe practice before you go, so you can enjoy it more when you get there ; less time floundering around like a guppy.

Dive shop, Paul? Is there anything you've not done?

When I worked in the West Indies, I had 3 jobs at once - worked weekdays for Ministry of Education, evenings and some inservice days for University of WI, and weekends and holidays for a dive shop (since I got to dive for free, and couldn't afford to actually pay for it!).

Haven't tried catering yet, nor likely to.

I did have an interesting job while a student though, filming alien autopsies ... :?

Dude. I didn't mean to alter your post. I pushed the wrong button (meant to push 'quote') but decided to leave it anyway. Sorry to offend and to abuse my powers.

Sorry also for a bad joke (nothing new there.)

Oops! My first thought was for everyone to be hyperactive on the forum and send you to the bottom of the post count list.

Anyway, glad to hear you've had a good time. I bet it's a shame you had to come back
