Do you think people who have suntans should have to pay for skin cancer treatment later in life? I don't understand these people who lay in the middle of local parks trying to sunbath. Seems to me to be the same as people who smoke despite the warnings. However, sunbathing isn't addictive. Or is there a subconcious, social addiction to look 'healthy'
Why is darker skin socially accepted as being healthier? 10minutes exposure is said to be good for general well being (vitamins and stuff) After that, it's progressivly harmful.
Why are days like the current ones deemed to be the best? My ideal 'sunny' day is about 22 degs c with a nice breeze and big fluffy clouds drifting by. As long as i can comfortably go around in a t-shirt and shorts, I'm fine.
I love the rain though, especially when it's heavy. Storms are even better. Very exhilerating.
In fact, I pretty much like all weather. Driving in some of it is awful though. But if you can just be objective and enjoy it, it's great.
Worst days are blanket grey with drizzle. Really non-descript and oppresive

I would say no. Even Mother Theresa or Gandhi ultimately did things because they thought they were moraly good which made them feel good.
Even if they did something that made them physically suffer, they still had the mental grip on the morality which made it worthwhile for them.

Is file sharing any different from Ebay or Carboot sales? Same thing but on a bigger scale as far as i can see.
For example, if one downloads an MP3 album, the record company / artist doesn't get any money. This is currently deemed to be the hugest breech of copy right. However, what's the difference with someone buying a second hand album from ebay? The only person making money is the seller (and ebay, of course) Obviously the same for carboot / jumble sales. This stuff has been going on for ages. I guess everyone in the industry is annoyed now because it's easier. But, are Metallica or Simon Cowell living in the lap of poverty as a result? Or are they all still squillionaires.
