Computer Arts Forum - RIP

Well, the old Computer Arts forum is finally no more.
Links to the forum now point to the main CA site.

This is a shame because, between the copious p*rn spam was a load of my stuff. They didn't even give me a chance to pack it all in boxes ; )

Ah well. Let's just remember the good times.

Its a shame and a big mistake IMO. Why conform to the Faeces Book and Twatter style of things? Artists who conform? Are they really artists?

Why not make Citizen Arts forum the new Computer Arts forum? Can we 'spread the word' Morphim?

I've been trying (in a half arsed sort of way) to do that for years. I'd love to get more people using this forum.
Let's split up, see who we can find, then meet back here on the winter solstice ; )

No! I perished some time ago! About 5th October.

I must remember to look in more often, even if its just to say I'm here. I might even try to upload some work.

I'm not sure when i passed away but it's seem reasonably recent judging by the smell.

Note to all: must try harder.

My aim is to migrate everything over to a Wordpress install (forum included) at some point in the near future and then really promote the site with the ability for each member / artist to have their own space / shop as well as a general forum for all.
I'll keep you informed.

That was my first time treading the murky on-line waters with my work, and the members there was really supportive. In its heyday it really felt like a community. Now with this fangled social media, everyone is spread so thin. If you are to promote yourself on all of these platforms, you take more time telling everyone about your work than you do actually making any!

I haven't really posted any work on-line for most of last year, but I have still been beavering away. I will post some stuff here and try and get some people involved.

Sorry not to have posted recently, the usual excuses, injury at work, the 'Flanker' Skyping from the USA constantly for more money, desperately trying to find someone to do my nails in London, finding ways of not being able to post my work on forums, etc.

Good to hear from the Pliss and the one who thinks he is a Tigers fan and good at draurin plaines.
