Nice to hear that Paul / Cow are doing OK.
Sounds like life in the jetset for you both ; )
I'm building too (still)
Big job but phase one (making it 'weather proof' is just about done.
Phase 2 is the inside which is going to really disrupt our living space. For example: all ceilings down to be able to replace existing ceiling joists with floor joists. Move stairs. Install 1/4 tonne steel beam to take new floor etc etc.
It's camping holiday for us this year (all funds will allow but that's OK. I like camping (with a tent BTW!!))
Work not too bad but doing extension on my own most of the working day, so work has taken a bit of a back seat.
My office is in our hall at the mo, so not ideal for business.
Need to just crack on with the building so I can get my office back.
Well. We're back now

Re: Well. We're back now
is this a building/holiday thread?
if so, garage conversion is nearly finished with inky number 2 on the way I've got to move out and inky number 1 is already 3, only holiday we've got booked is a week in Norway, work is busy and keeping me out of trouble

Hi Inky mate, long time no post. Glad to hear you're keeping busy, and congratulations on the imminent arrival!
Re: Well. We're back now
Not til December does the munchkin arrive, plenty of time and been bogged down on other forums hence the lack of posts, I'll try to be good and remember this place a bit more though.

Re: Well. We're back now
Sorry. Forum went through a bit of a metamorphosis.
Just trying to sort out some problems which (hopefully) are sorted now.
Smilies are back, Cow.
Some had an 'e_' in the middle of their file name? What's that all about.
Good to hear about your expectation, Chris. Good luck
That illustration is terrific. Do you have a bigger version for us to scrutinise

Re: Well. We're back now
I'm very partial to Badger's 'Golden Glory' at the moment. I know this might not be everyone's 'pint of T.E.A'
but I love it.
Makes everything else taste like pond water
Good to see you made it.

Re: Well. We're back now
I think they have that in the local SM. Better have a look. Had some 'Doom Bar' (4%) yesterday. It was a bit disappointing, then I found out the brewery is owned by a Canadian brewer Molson. Recommended: Dow Bridge Micro Brewery, in Leicestershire. All ales fantastic.I'm very partial to Badger's 'Golden Glory'
